A statewide search is underway for a northern Wisconsin man accused of conspiring to commit murder.
Four people are already in custody in the December 22nd fatal shooting of Wayne Valliere Junior. Court documents state Valliere’s body was located near an unpaved road on Jan. 1. The documents also state it was suspected Valliere Jr. was a confidential informant. Autopsy reports show Valliere had been shot eight times.
Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Justice say they are looking for James Lussier. He is also wanted in Vilas County for charges related to the Valliere killing — and he’s wanted in Marathon County in an unrelated case. Suspects Richard Allen, Joseph Lussier, Evan Oungst and Curtis Wolfe are being held in the Iron County Jail.
