Hundreds of people braved icy cold water over the weekend to help raise money for Special Olympics athletes. In Menomonie, 170 people jumping in freezing water Saturday at Wakanda Park. Organizers say the money raised from the event will fund year-round health programs, sports training, and competition opportunities for kids and adults with intellectual disabilities. Events are being held across Wisconsin and will raise more than 40-thousand dollars.
