The team of lawyers representing convicted killer Brendan Dassey is partnering with attorneys who are experienced presenting arguments to the U-S Supreme Court. Dassey’s 2005 confession to the murder of photographer Teresa Halbach is being challenged. The nation’s high court has been asked to review a decision from the Seventh U-S Circuit Court of Appeals. Dassey and his uncle, Steven Avery, are serving life sentences for the killing in Manitowoc County when Dassey was 16. A brief is to be filed within the next few days.
