Lakeshore Technical College honored seven educators and business leaders who excel in promoting career planning in Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties at the Celebration of K-12 Partnerships last week Thursday. The three categories are LTC Partnership Awards, Academic and Career Planning Awards, and Education and Business Partnership Awards. LTC Partnership Award recipients included Tina Lemmens of Mishicot High School and Dr. Bill Klein of Central High School. Academic and Career Planning Awards were given to Jacob Sherman of Plymouth High School, Jamie Brown of Reedsville High School; and Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah High School’ Beth Roehl. Finally Scott Kuehn from Bemis Manufacturing Company and Jamie Zastrow of Manitowoc County Home Builders Association received Education and Business Partnership Awards. LTC President Paul Carlsen stated “With their leadership and dedication, more students than ever before are getting the opportunity to become college and career ready while still in high school.”
