Manitowoc Woman Breaks into Ex’s Home, Arrested for Damage to Property

A Manitowoc Woman was arrested early Saturday morning after she broke into her ex-boyfriends home. Police arrived at the home on the 900 block of South 23^rd Street at around 4:15 A.M., and saw April Huchthausen running toward them. The police report says that she appeared to be under the influence of some sort of drug. She then attempted to run back into the house, but police were able hold her back. According to the man, Huchthausen smashed through a window and began yelling at him. The man attempted to get her to leave, but she refused. She then tried to enter the room where their daughter was, but he was able to keep her from doing so. Huchthausen admitted to breaking the window, and was placed under arrest. She is facing charges of Domestic Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Damage to Property, and Resisting Arrest.
