A 33-year-old father has entered a not guilty plea to first-degree reckless homicide charges in the death of his infant son. During a court hearing in Wood County, a witness told the judge James W. Georgeson picked the 15-month-old up and shook him after the child threw his sippy cup. When he checked on him, Georgeson’s son wasn’t breathing. The boy died two days later on February 4th, 2017. An autopsy revealed the infant had suffered multiple injuries to his upper body.
