Federal prosecutors say A Milwaukee man will spend 10 years in federal prison for a conducting a meth operation in Northeast Wisconsin. Thirty-three-year-old Levester R. Brown was sentenced in federal court Monday. Federal prosecutors say Brown made frequent trips from his home in Milwaukee to Phoenix, Arizona, to buy pure methamphetamine. Brown would use the U-S Postal Service to ship the meth to people in Milwaukee and Brown Deer. He would then take the drugs to his main distributor in Green Bay. Prosecutors say On June 6th, special agents with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and U-S Postal Inspection Service arrested Brown as he tried to ship about nine pounds of meth to his associates in Wisconsin. During sentencing, Brown was also ordered to serve 10 years on federal supervised release after his prison term.
