The charges against a 19-year-old La Crosse man have been reduced from attempted homicide to felony bail jumping. Prosecutors say Steven Brock played a relatively minor role in a shooting case last spring. The six charges that were dismissed will be considered by the court when Brock is sentenced May 31st. Prosecutors are recommending he receive a probation term. Surveillance video shows Ramon Washington shooting at Monica Thompson April 10th, but no one was hit. Washington and two other men were also charged in the case. Washington faces a 20-year prison sentence when he is sentenced later this month.
