The city of Sheboygan released the 2017 Performance Scorecard, and the numbers look very good. Of the thirteen different items recorded, eleven met or exceeded the target, while two were within 10% of the target. In the Neighborhood Revitalization category, the city came up fifty two new trees planted short of their goal of 500, and in the Quality of Life category, 83% of the fire responses made it on the scene in 380 seconds or less, coming up 7% short of their 90% goal. Another number of note, shows that 94% of residents surveyed rate the city’s performance as fair, good, or excellent, blowing out their goal of 80%.
