A Manitowoc Police Officer pulled a vehicle over early yesterday morning for an expired license plate, and ended up arresting the two occupants for drug possession. The stop happened on I43 near Viebahn Street just after 1:10 AM, and the officer noticed Stephen Ambeau and Desiree Anderson acting suspiciously. K9 Major was called to the scene, and detected narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle uncovers two baggies containing cocaine, weighing just shy of 18 grams. Inside Ambeau’s coat, 49 tramadol pills and two Viagra pills were found, both of which he did not have a prescription for, while a used hypodermic needle, and brillo pads, which are used for smoking base cocaine, were found in Anderson’s purse. Both were arrested, and charged with several drug related charges.
