The Transportation Security Administration confirms reports that Tuesday morning flights at Central Wisconsin Airport were delayed by what appeared to be an explosive device.  A hand grenade was found in a checked bag at 5:25 A-M leading to an evacuation of the facility in Mosinee.  Two flights were affected.  The grenade was inert and the Marathon County Bomb Squad disposed of it.  Mosinee Police handled the tense situation.  A T-S-A spokesperson says the incident should remind travelers that any item which looks like an explosive can’t be packed in a checked bag.
