Waukesha Police say the 73-year-old man killed by a train Monday morning had been pulled onto the railroad tracks by his dog.  Alois Hinkes was walking his pet when the approaching train frightened the dog, causing it to try to run across the tracks to get away.  Hinkes held onto the leash until he was struck by the train.  The dog was also killed by the impact.  Hinkes lived in a nearby home.
