A 12-unit apartment building in Cross Plains suffered extensive damage in a Monday fire, displacing dozens of residents.  The first 9-1-1 call came in at about 12:30 P-M.  Firefighters say four apartments were a complete loss, while the other eight might salvageable.  Tenants weren’t allowed back into the damaged apartments last night.  No residents were injured and all pets were accounted for.  The Salvation Army and Red Cross responded to help those who lost many or all of their possessions.  No official cause of the fire has been released yet.
