The City of Two Rivers has been approved by the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands to receive a State Trust Fund Loan totaling $675,000. They are one of five municipalities and one school district who are getting a portion of the over $3.6 million that the board has approved. The City is to use the loan to refinance a general obligation debt. The BCPL operates entirely on program revenue, without taxpayer money and distributes more than 96 cents of every dollar of interest earned on BCPL State Trust Fund investments to Wisconsin’s public schools.
