The Milwaukee Brewers have a pretty good bullpen, but the starters aren’t performing.  The Cardinals touched starter Jhoulys Chacin for six runs on the way to a 6-0 win Wednesday night at Miller Park.  St. Louis took the series two-out-of-three.  Cardinal starter Carlos Martinez and two relievers combined on the five-hit shutout.  Jonathan Villar had a pair of hits and a stolen base, but Milwaukee hitters didn’t produce much more than that against the hard-throwing Martinez.  It gets no easier for the Brewers with the defending Central Division champion Chicago Cubs coming to town.  Brent Suter starts the first of a four-game home series tonight (Thursday) at 7:10 P-M. Broadcast coverage can be heard on AM 1240 WOMT at 6:35 PM.
