The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region Office will be holding a “public construction update” meeting to discuss the upcoming US Highway 10 resurfacing project in Calumet and Manitowoc County.  It’ll take place next Monday, April 16th from 5 until 6:30 at the Village municipal building in Whitelaw.

The nearly 20- mile project extends from the intersection of state Highway 32/57 and US highway 10 IN Calumet County to the intersection of state Highway 310 and County Road R in Manitowoc County. No work will be done in Brillion or Reedsville.

Project plans include resurfacing of the highway—various culvert repairs and replacements and vision corner grading. Work specifically to be done in Whitelaw includes storm sewer—curb ramps and concrete pavement repair. Traffic will be detoured on Highway 10 in Whitelaw while other work will be conducted under traffic using lane closures.

Work is expected to begin next month and be completed by October. Those unable to attend can receive information by calling (920) 366-4788 or e-mail brian.haen@dot.wi.gov.
