A Milwaukee County judge will hear arguments next month about where a sexually violent offender should be placed when he is released from custody.  Portage County officials are trying to prevent Gregory Loomis from being released to a halfway house in the Town of Alban.  A new state law requires all sexually violent offenders to be placed in their home county when they get out of jail.  The judge will hear the case May 24th.  Loomis was sent to prison for sexually assaulting children he was babysitting over a four-year period ending in 1992.
