Manitowoc Police Department is asking for the public’s help leading to the identity and arrest of the suspect(s) responsible for the burglary to the Manitowoc A&W restaurant. Detective David McCue says during the early morning hours of March 25th the suspect forced entry into the Harbor Town business. Police believe the suspect knew the layout of the building as bank bags which contained an undisclosed amount of money were stolen in a short amount of time. The suspect is described as wearing a black jacket, a grey or charcoal colored hooded, tan or gray baggy pants, dark brown or black shoes, blue latex medical gloves and a clown or similar type Halloween mask with a red nose and white eyes. The person of interest was last seen walking through the Manitowoc Shell parking lot towards the Harbor Town Inn. Anyone with information leading to an arrest may be eligible to receive up to a $500 cash reward through Crime Stoppers.
