The Manitowoc Public School District announced yesterday that they are looking to fill the School Board seat that was formerly held by Karen Roher. The seat will become vacant once Roher’s term of office expires in April of 2019. Anyone who would like to fill the spot must write a letter of interest, which must include your name, address and telephone number, and must address your qualifications to hold the role. A sworn Declaration of Eligibility must also be submitted. Both can be turned into the District Office, located at 2902 Lindbergh Drive in Manitowoc. To ensure consideration, the letter of interest must be received by May 10th, and the Declaration of Eligibility must be completed prior to the Board meeting where they consider potential appointees. Questions can be directed to Superintendent Mark Holzman, by calling 686-4781, or by email, at email@example.com.
