Two Rivers reported 12 inches last night, while not far away in Green Bay, 23 inches are on the ground this morning. Mayor Justin Nickels issued a Snow emergency Sunday morning to prohibit parking on any city street between 1:00 PM and 6:00 am today to assist in snow plowing operations. Virtually ALL public and private school systems in Manitowoc County along with Denmark and Brillion are closed today.

In the downtown area, Franklin Street from South 8th to South 9th remains closed to through traffic, after reports of falling building debris from a building at the southwest corner of 8th & Franklin Saturday afternoon. Traffic is being detoured to Quay Street at this time, and it’s expected ‘that’ segment of Franklin Street will be re-opened by the end of the day.
