A Manitowoc man was picked up by police for his 5th OWI offence over the weekend. An officer pulled the man over at around 2:40 AM Saturday morning after the officer saw the man driving without his headlights on down Marshall Street. When the officer turned on his emergency lights, the man drove over the median on Washington Street. When officers spoke with the man he admitted that he had consumed about 10-15 beers at a bar. Because the man did not have a jacket and the temp was around the freezing mark, the officers brought the man to Holy Family Memorial Hospital to perform the Field Sobriety Test. He was then arrested and charged with OWI Fifth Offence.
