Although spring has technically sprung, several areas broke their all-time records for snow amounts with the snowfall over the weekends. Appleton ended up with 21.2”, New London with 23”, Brillion received 18”, Oconto accumulated 29”, Shawano was covered with 29.8”, and Waupaca measured in with 28.4”. While the brunt of the spring burial has ended, we are expected to receive a couple more inches tomorrow as well. A big shout out goes to all those who were manning the snowplows throughout the storm. The roads were cleared in a timely fashion, and the Wisconsin DOT has announced that every main road is fully operational. A couple also had to make the trek from Marinette down to Green Bay during the storm to give birth to their baby boy. All three are reportedly ok.
