The quality of recruits to the University of Wisconsin hockey program is emphasized by the rankings released by N-H-L Central Scouting. Three are in the top-50 and a total of seven are on the list — more than any other college. Left-wing Sampo Ranta and defensemen K’Andre Miller and Ty Emberson were actually in the top-42. Only Boston University can match that. Others seen as having the potential to be a draft choice are goalie Daniel Lebedeff, left wing Jack Gorniak, and twin brothers and defensemen Cole and Christian Krygier. Not everyone who is ranked gets picked in the N-H-L Draft.
