The American Heart Association hosts its annual Green Bay Go Red for Women Luncheon on May 4, 2018 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center beginning at 11:00 am.
More than 800,000 people in the U.S. die from heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases each year in the U.S. But 80 percent of cardiovascular disease may be prevented through healthy habits like eating healthier, controlling cholesterol and blood pressure and moving more. The purpose of the Go Red for Women Luncheon is to create a supportive, informative and social atmosphere that will encourage the women and men of Green Bay to become champions of heart and stroke health and prevention, and advocates for their family’s health. The Luncheon features a silent auction, survivor stories and education on cardiovascular disease, risk factors, and heart healthy lifestyles.
Individual tickets for the Green Bay Go Red for Women luncheon program are still available. To purchase tickets and for more information, please visit www.heart.org/greenbaygoesred. Make it your mission to Go Red!
