The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department says that criminal charges have been filed against three teenagers for allegedly vandalizing more than 30 residential mailboxes causing more than $6,000 in damages. One felony count of party to the crime of criminal damage to property have been filed against 18-year-old Jacob Beauchaine, 18-year-old Valentina Flannery and 17-year-old Nick Froelich. Court Records also show a 15-year-old boy is expected face charges in juvenile court. Sheriff’s officials say they received multiple calls in early February regarding damaged mailboxes—road signs and a vehicle windshield. The criminal complaint lists more than 40 victims throughout the county with Flannery telling authorities that the three boys would take turns getting out of a truck and smash mailboxes with a hammer or baseball bat along with taking turns firing at mailboxes with a 12-gauge pump shot gun. Beauchaine, Flannery and Froelich are all due in court May 24th for their initial appearances.
