Although we just got done with the Spring Election, it is time to start thinking about the Fall Election. April 15th was the first day for candidates who are running for partisan office to circulate nominations. State offices on the November 6, 2018 ballot will include the Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, United States Senator, 6th District Representative in Congress, State Senate Districts 1 and 9, Assembly Representative, Districts 1, 2, 25 and 27. The County offices will include the Sheriff, Clerk of Circuit Court, and Coroner. Dan Hartwig has already filed his Campaign Registration Statement and Declaration of Candidacy for the Sheriff’s position. If a primary is necessary, the primary date is August 14, 2018.
