The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the University of Wisconsin-Extension will host informational meetings on the Margin Protection Program for Dairy (MPP-Dairy) across Wisconsin in April and May. The informational meetings will cover changes to MPP-Dairy, production history, coverage levels, premiums and the MPP-Dairy Decision Tool. Some of the scheduled meetings will also include an overview of additional USDA programs. The Manitowoc and Brown County meetings will both take place on May 3rd. The Manitowoc one will be in the Manitowoc County Office Complex, at 4319 Expo Drive in Manitowoc at 1:30 PM, while the Brown County gathering will be at 10 AM in the Brown County FSA Office located at 3071C Voyager Drive in Green Bay at 10:00 AM. All dairy producers are encouraged to attend. Sheboygan County farmers will have theirs on May 10th in the Washington Ozaukee FSA Office located at 333 East Washington Street in West Bend. The meeting will begin at 1:00 PM.
