The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office will use modern testing techniques to learn more about the woman called “Jane Doe” when she was buried at a cemetery in the Town of Waupun six years ago. Her remains were exhumed Thursday. Tests on her bones could reveal where she lived, her ancestors and he eye, hair and skin color. Investigators are hoping the tests lead to information about her identity. Jane Doe’s remains were found by hunters in southern Fond du Lac County in November 2008.
