Some Marquette students say the relationship between black or brown students and every other student on the Milwaukee campus has been broken. Students say there is a culture of racism there. They point to a Snapchat photo of white people who were pointing a toy gun at a black doll earlier this week. Some African-American students say they took that as a threat. Dozens of students attended a closed meeting with administrators Tuesday, saying the institution is “very divisive,” and “definitely not inclusive.” Only one-in-25 students attending Marquette is non-white.
