The Green Bay Aquarium Society (GBAS) is proud to announce that we are holding our first Rummage Sale for a Cause during the Clovis Grove and Gegan Neighborhood Rummage Sale. They are specifically fundraising for Heckrodt Wetland Reserve’s new and improved Living Waters Display. 100% of monies raised by selling GBAS Donated Items will go towards this fund.
“This is such a great opportunity,” said John Moyles GBAS President. “We, as a club, feel that is important to give back to the community, and what better way than during a neighborhood rummage sale. Heckrodt is doing really great work advocating for the preservation of local waterways and educating people on the importance of conservation.”
GBAS will hold its Rummage Sale for a Cause from Thursday May 17th, 2018 to Sunday May 20th, 2018 from 9am to 5pm each day at 736 Arthur Street, Menasha WI 54952. GBAS has a huge inventory of new and used equipment that will be available to purchase, as is, at rock bottom prices.
The event is free, open to the public, and everyone is welcome to attend.
GBAS is a non-profit educational organization whose purpose is to further the study of all forms of aquatic life, to promote interest, exchange ideas, and distribute information concerning the aquarium hobby, and to encourage the display of aquatic life. GBAS maintains several public aquariums, including those at the Brown County Central Library. Club meetings are held each month at 1000 Islands Environmental Center in Kaukauna. www.gbasonline.org
