The District Attorney’s Office rules there is no way to conclusively tie the death of a man to the actions taken by two West Milwaukee police officers. Twenty-two-year-old Adam Trammell was bipolar and suffered from schizophrenia. The two officers were cleared of any criminal charges after body camera footage showed them tasing Trammell while he was naked and in a shower last May. He died on the way to a hospital. An attorney for Trammell’s family says he was tased at least 15 times. A civil lawsuit will be filed. The two officers were on administrative leave for two months after the incident.
