The Wisconsin Public Service Commission is ordering the state’s utilities to share their tax savings with customers. The federal corporate tax rate was reduced from 35 percent to 21 percent and those utilities set their rates based on the higher tax. The P-S-C now says public utilities need to return 130-million dollars to their customers. Last week’s vote was unanimous. The utilities are expected to issue the credits on customer bills in July. No dollar figure has been attached to the credits yet.
