Wisconsin’s governor has told people attending a Midwest Conservative Summit he would welcome the chance to join the president if he comes to the state. Governor Scott Walker disputed a New York Times report which said he was unlikely to campaign with President Trump. Walker says voter frustration with Washington doesn’t mean voters are frustrated with the president. He pointed out he joined Vice President Mike Pence at a fundraiser in Milwaukee just last week.
