The Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northeast Region office reminds the public that a construction update meeting to discuss upcoming road work on U.S. Highway 10 in Manitowoc and Calumet Counties will be held tomorrow from 5 until 6:30 at the Village Municipal Building in Whitelaw.
The nearly 20-mile project extends from the intersection of state highway 32/57 and U.S. Highway 10 in Calumet County to the intersection of state highway 310 and County Road R in Manitowoc County. No work will be done in Brillion or Reedsville.
Project plans include resurfacing of the highway—various culvert repairs and replacements and vision corner grading. Work specifically to be done in Whitelaw includes storm sewer—Curb ramps and concrete pavement repair.
Traffic will be detoured on Highway 10 in Whitelaw while other work will be conducted under traffic using lane closures. Work is expected to begin May 21st and finish in October. Those unable to attend can receive information by calling (920) 366-4788 or e-mail brian.haen@dot.wi.gov.
