A semi traveling on County Trunk Highway ‘V”, or Randolph Street in the Village of Mishicot early this morning left the roadway and struck a power pole. The crash reported shortly after 2:30am resulted in an estimated 3,000 Wisconsin Public Service customers being without power in and around the village. Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Lieutenant Dan Hartwig tells Seehafer News that service has since been restored to all customers. Hartwig said the driver of the CP Feed truck is okay and there were no other injuries. Sheriff’s Deputies responded along with Mishicot Fire department personnel and WPS work crews. The Highway 42 Garage was contacted to remove the semi from the scene..and the overnight crash remains under investigation.
