A Manitowoc woman was arrested on Monday after she was seen stealing from Piggly Wiggly. Police were informed of the retail theft in progress at 4:00 PM. While they were on their way to the store, they were informed that the culprit was responsible for a theft on Sunday as well, and was being detained by store personnel. The 28 year old woman admitted to stealing items on both days, totaling $62.73. The items ranged from candy and food to foot powder and cough drops. The woman also still had an active warrant through the Ashwaubenon Police Department, also for retail theft. She has been charged with retail theft, and felony bail jumping.
