Hopes for catcher Stephen Vogt’s return to the Brewer lineup went in the wrong direction over the weekend. The 33-year-old Vogt will be examined by Brewer team physician William Raasch today (Monday) after suffering pain while throwing in a minor-league game Saturday. Vogt strained his throwing shoulder in spring training. Closer Corey Knebel is said to be making progress from the hamstring injury he suffered last month. Team officials say he could be back by the end of the week — or, sometime next week.
