The Manitowoc Police Department has announced the charges the two men responsible for a Manitowoc County kidnapping last week will be facing. Tamario Williams is being charged with Party to the crime of Kidnapping, Intimidation of a Witness, Intimidation of a Victim, and False Imprisonment, while Jamal Rudd II faces charges of Kidnapping, Intimidation of a Witness, Intimidation of a Victim, False Imprisonment, Strangulation, Battery, and Burglary. The kidnapping occurred last Thursday, after Rudd and Williams traveled from Milwaukee to Manitowoc to confront the victim about stolen property. Rudd assaulted the unnamed female victim, and threatened to kill her. The pair then drug the woman out to their car, and forced her into the back seat. The victim was able to escape her captors, and was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Both men were captured by police, with help from a citizen who saw Rudd after he fled on foot. Both suspects were transported to the Manitowoc County Jail where they are being held. Their next court appearances will be next Monday.
