Led by senior Gabby Curtis, the Wisconsin women’s golf team is enjoying its competition in the N-C-A-A regional at University Ridge Golf Course in Madison so far. Curtis fired a career-best five-under-par 67 Monday on the home course. The Badgers finished the first day of the tournament 11 shots behind the Virginia Cavaliers with a 290. That mark is better than the team’s season average of 292 and almost four strokes better than the all-time record of a little over 296.
