Twenty-seven sub-contractors and suppliers have won contracts worth 100-million dollars to work on phase-one of the Foxconn Technology Group project. The flat-screen manufacturing plant is being built in southeastern Wisconsin — with the first dirt moved Monday. Governor Scott Walker joined business leaders at news conferences in three cities to announce the new deals. The Wisconsin sub-contractors are part of the work being done to prepare the site in Mount Pleasant for construction. It is estimated more than one-million cubic yards of dirt will be moved each month.
