The Valders High School Girls Fastpitch Softball team suffered its’ 1st conference loss of the season yesterday when the Vikings were defeated by Chilton 13-8. Callie Behnke led the Valders offense by going 2-4 including a home run, double & 4 RBI’steammate Kendra Hammel also went 2-for-4.  Starting pitcher Jenna Evenson allowed 7-earned runs and took the loss.  Alysha Brickl was winning pitcher & offensive leader for the host Tigers with a complete game effort and added 3-hits, including a homer & 3 RBI’s. The Vikings fall to 5-and-1 in the E-W-C, 10-and-2 overall.  Chilton improves to 5-and-oh in league, and 9-&-2.This afternoon Valders will travel to undefeated Brillion.  The Lions were also in action Monday and shut out Roncalli 11-0.  In non-conference play: Plymouth outscored Sheboygan Falls 16-9.
