Left-hander Brent Suter rushed into the game with one out in the first inning and pitched four-and-two-thirds innings of relief to pick up his second victory of the season. That isn’t all he did Tuesday.
Suter touched American League Cy Young Award winner Corey Kluber for a first-pitch, third-inning home run in Milwaukee’s 3-2 victory. That was Cleveland’s fourth straight loss. Suter took over for Wade Miley when the starter suffered an oblique strain after throwing just 19 pitches. Travis Shaw also hit the ball out of the park to drive in a pair of runs.
Junior Guerra will start this afternoon’s 12:10 P-M game against the Indians at Miller Park.
