Defenseman J-D Greenway may not return to Madison for his junior year with the Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey team. The final decision hasn’t been made yet, but Greenway was taken in the first round of the U-S Hockey League draft Tuesday. He could play in the junior league next season instead of remaining in college hockey. Badgers coach Tony Granato says he’s spoken with the player and Greenway is weighing his options. Granato has six other defensemen on his roster, so playing time might be limited with the Badgers.
