A Sheboygan man is facing charges after allegedly stealing over $20,000 from the Riteway Club in Sheboygan. Jeffery Wright is the former treasure of the non-profit organization which aims to help people sober up. The theft uncovered when the incoming treasurer noticed some major discrepancies in the bookkeeping. It was uncovered that there were over $26,000 worth of unauthorized purchases on a credit card that was under the care of Wright. He did admit fault, and pointed out that he paid back around $4,000 of the stolen funds. Wright is facing a felony theft charge, and could spend more than six years in prison if found guilty.
