Even though the competition was held on their home golf course, University Ridge, the Wisconsin women’s golf team failed to qualify for the N-C-A-A National Tournament. Senior Gabby Curtis did make it as an individual qualifier by finishing fourth. The tournament wasn’t really a loss for U-W. The Badgers ninth-place finish was their best in four years and they set a season record for scoring average, but only the top six teams advance. Curtis will compete in the tournament in Stillwater, Oklahoma, May 18th-through-the-23rd.
