Reasons for the abrupt resignations of two leaders of the Mosinee Fire Department become a little clearer with the release of documents through an open records request. A Wausau television station, News-9 W-A-O-W, is reporting Fire Chief Doug Jennings and Deputy Chief Emily Dobeck were criticized for their behavior at work. There were allegations of bullying other employees and the two were accused of going missing during work shifts. Jennings and Dobek petitioned the judge to keep the complaints from being released, but he refused.
