The Wisconsin Constitutional prohibits sports betting and the current state-tribal compacts do the same. If one of Wisconsin’s 11 tribes operating a casino wanted to offer sports betting, the state could agree. The decision by the high court opens the door to the Wisconsin Legislature making future decisions on sports betting without a federal roadblock.
