The Manitowoc Public School District will be holding a special meeting in the Wilson Jr. High Auditorium tonight. The meeting to discuss with the public the proposed grade alignment changes will begin at 7:00 PM. The changes would see all elementary schools change to 5K-5th grade schools, Washington and Wilson Jr High schools, becoming 6-8 grades, and Lincoln High becoming a 9-12 school. The proposal will be presented in full detail, and will be followed by a public input session. Also, board members will be attending Lincoln High School’s Scholarship and Awards Program at 7:00 PM tomorrow in the Lincoln High Auditorium. No official business will be conducted.
