*Roncalli….won a pitcher’s duel at Valders…nipping the Vikings 1-to-nothing.  Dave Heinzen tossed-

A complete-game for the Jets on a 5-hitter..with 1-walk and 2-strikeouts.  Luke Wendling also went-

The distance for Valders allowing 5-hits, an earned run, 5-strikeouts and zero walks.

*Denmark…blanked Clintonville….3-nothing.

Girls Fastpitch Softball:

*It was Manitowoc Lincoln sweeping a doubleheader at Sheboygan South…by scores of 12-2 & 16-6.

At the FRCC track & field meet:

*The Manitowoc Lincoln girls 4-by-400 relay team ‘set a new stadium record’ at Pulaski…in winning-

their event.  Mia (mee-ah) Khalil (cah-LIL’), Cayla Robinson, Brooke Parrish & Emily Dawidowich-

(daw-wih-DOW’-which) crossed the finish line in a time of 4-minutes & 10-point-66 seconds.  Emily-

*DePere topped Manitowoc Lincoln 5-to-2 in a league dual meet at Lincoln Park.  The Ships were-

victorious in #1 & 2 doubles matches..but dropped closely contested decisions at 1-&-4 singles.

In Boys Golf:

The Eastern Wisconsin Conference Meet #7 (of the Spring) went to Roncalli…at Wander Springs.

The Jets posted a low score of 164 on the ‘Garden’ course…while Kiel…was 2nd, 11-strokes back-

At 175.  Coach John Haug’s team had ‘3’ golfers among the top-6, with Ian (EE’-un) Behringer-

Bennett Braun (brown) of Valders & Trace Woepse of Kiel finishing in a 3-way tie at ‘37.’  The Jets’-

Bryce Pautz (powts) & Ethan Wheelis were tied for 5th..with a 40.  Zack Gordon of Two Rivers carded-
