Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst has announced the signing of first-round draft pick Jaire Alexander. The five-foot-11 cornerback was chosen in last month’s 2018 N-F-L Draft after he played his college football for the Louisville Cardinals. The Packers have tried to bulk up their secondary after surrendering 30 touchdown passes last season. That sub-par performance led to the drafting of Alexander and Iowa defensive back Josh Jackson. Injuries have been a problem for the Packers in recent seasons and they sought depth in preparation for 2018.
